Anna Faris’ looks and comedic timing save The Bunny House from being a terrible movie. It’s a pretty funny movie, in a dumb blonde’s kind of way. The movie does have its moments and if you watch the entire movie, I don’t think you’ll find it was a waste of time. It is very entertaining.

Shelley, played by Faris, is a playboy bunny living a life of total freedom in the Mansion. A day after she turns 27, she receives a letter kicking her out of Hefner’s bed and the Mansion out due to her age. 27 in human years is like 59 in Bunny years! Confused and not having any idea of what to do outside the Mansion, she is presented with a great idea while walking aimlessly around L.A. She decides to become a house mother for the sorority girls of Zeta House, the misfits of the campus.

If they don’t get their act together, make some serious changes, and get more than 30 pledges, they will lose their house. Shelley teaches the group of misfits about skimpy clothes and flirting. They attempt to teach her how to look smart to get a nice guy.

Faris delivers one-liners flawlessly, and cracks everyone up growling out people’s names so that she can remember them.

“The House Bunny” is not the best comedy out there, but you must admit that Anna Faris does a great job making this movie enjoyable.
